The department was established in 2009 and has very good infrastructural facilities including fairly well-equipped laboratories and a Seminar Hall. The department has 6 Associate Professors and 4 Assistant Professors at present. All faculty members are qualified, well experienced, and dedicated. In addition, there are 5 Technical Laboratory Assistants and 1 Laboratory Attendant, all of whom are also well qualified. Emphasis is given to structured curriculum coverage, by arranging industrial visits, expert talks, guest lectures, guidance sessions, and trying to have industry-sponsored projects too. Students are constantly encouraged to participate in sports, cultural and technical activities so as to have all-around development.
